Minister of Sorrow won the top prize at the 2023 Appalachian Playwriting Festival held in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains outside of Asheville, North Carolina. The festival was produced by the legendary Parkway Playhouse (Burnsville) and Minister of Sorrow will open the Playhouse's 76th Season beginning May 17, 2024.
